Make your Twitter Fly!!!

The incredibly huge and diverse universe that is Twitter is good for many things... but is driving direct sales one of them?

If you’re using Twitter right, you’re already reaching out to people in your industry, sharing innovation and insight. You’re possibly also gauging your audience, staying on top of trends and assessing appetites. At the very least, you’re putting yourself out there, maintaining a presence, driving traffic to your blog and positioning your business or product in the minds of your followers. Aren’t you?

But Twitter is a big place for 140 little characters. Which makes it difficult to really find the people most interested in you and your story – people who are in the moment, in the market and already have one hand tentatively reaching for the cash in their pocket...

Sure, you’ll find a certain amount organically, and given plenty of time, patience and bravery, you can accrue followers steadily. But unless you have a truly exceptional story to tell, or lots of time to tweet your little heart out, there’s more than one way to find your way in the Twittersphere...

Promoted tweets and accounts are another way to help promote and drive engagement with your business, these types of ads make sure your message shows up in timelines and search results – and in front of interested eyes in your locality.

And here’s the great thing – no clicks = no cost!

You only pay per click in retrospect and, like Google search, you can cap your spend before it spirals out of control (though surely that’s an indicator of success in itself?).
