Position: Magento Developer
Location: Belfast
Salary: Negotiable - depending on experience
Employment: Permanent, Full-time

From FM104 in Dublin, to Cork’s 96FM, our Irish local radio brands are distinguished by their connections with their communities.

The Team: Zesty/Web Bureau, a company full of talented, dedicated and creative people. We are an ambitious and ever-growing organisation with a passion for technology, the Internet and customer service. Zesty/Web bureau is an award-winning digital strategy, design and development agency with over 22 years' experience gained across 3000+ digital projects.

The Role: We are currently looking for Magento Web Developers (PHP, MYSQL, Magento) to work alongside our talented development team. As part of the role you will be reporting directly to the Head of Development in the PHP team, working primarily with Magento 1 & Magento 2 solutions. The successful candidates will be involved in the development of web applications for a number of online systems and a range of clients. To be considered you should have a solid programming background, particularly within the eCommerce sphere.


ESSENTIAL

  • 2 years + experience developing eCommerce solutions in Magento 2
  • Experience developing eCommerce solutions in Magento 2. 
  • Experience in Magento 1 beneficial
  • Skills in applying Security Patches and updates
  • Relevant experience in developing websites in an Agency.
  • Strong Magento Back End skills and understanding of Front End structure
  • Extensive experience of PHP and MySQL
  • Demonstrable source control experience
  • Analyse, design, code, debug, test, document & deploy applications.
  • Participate in project & deployment planning
  • Must be a self-starter & be able to work with minimum supervision
  • Work in a self-directed environment and write maintainable code
  • Solid problem-solving skills

DESIRABLE

  • Knowledge of frontend code including HTML, CSS, JavaScript is an advantage
  • Ability to work with APIs, Payment Gateways & XML
  • Ability to demonstrate an understanding of current UI and UX principles
