Salary: Negotiable depending on  experience

We are currently seeking a talented Technical Project Manager to add to our experienced and talented team to help us with a large number of global brands e.g. Talksport, Bombardier, Harry Corry, BBC, Irish Football Association, Cubis, Kingspan to name a few.


The Role

We are looking for an organised, motivated, and passionate Technical Project Manager to address our customers' technical requirements and manage our projects. You will provide an accurate technical service before and after the point of sale. You will ensure customer satisfaction, delivering projects on time, within budget and to a high quality. 

The Technical Project Manager will work closely with our portfolio of clients to plan and document their technical website requirements and help them overcome any challenges. This role forms a crucial part of our agency as you will be the key point of contact between the project team and our internal and external development teams. 

As a Technical Project Manager, you should be a tech-savvy professional and be able to explain and gather technical details and requirements to a non-technical audience.

We work with a high calibre of clients to deliver customised and bespoke websites that meet their key business requirements. 

 

Day to day you will:

  • Have input at the proposal stage of a project to validate the feasibility of project proposals where applicable from the sales team.
  • Manage key client projects on a day-to-day basis to ensure a smooth delivery
  • Work with active clients to gather their technical requirements through meetings with key stakeholders within the organisation
  • Communicate these requirements to the developers in the form of technical specification documentation
  • Manage scope creep within the project
  • Manage project development lifecycle with the client
  • Communicating with and managing all stakeholders in an efficient manner.
  • Take initiative in identifying growth opportunities

Working closely with the internal and external Project and Development teams

What we’re looking for from you:

  • Experience in a similar role
  • A proven track record of Technical Project Management for web related projects
  • Self-starter
  • Excellent technical document writing skills
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding
  • Extensive Project Management skills
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills and confidence when talking about technical details to both clients and developers
  • Proven experience of working closely with clients and other team members in a collaborative manner
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time, prioritise and deliver calmly under pressure
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Experience of using Project Management tools such as Teamwork, JIRA, or Trello as well as experience of working with Content Management Systems and / or eCommerce solutions (Magento)
